At Salt + Light Thermography, each session follows a consistent process designed to feel simple, unhurried, and comfortable. Using gentle infrared imaging in an integrative wellness environment, our goal is to provide meaningful insight, establish personal baselines, and support ongoing comparison over time.

Your visit typically lasts approximately 30–60 minutes, depending on the type of imaging study selected. Thermography is a non-contact, non-invasive process with no compression or discomfort. A brief intake is completed at the beginning of your appointment to confirm general readiness.

Prior to your visit, we provide simple preparation guidelines to help support optimal imaging conditions. These may include avoiding heavy exercise or heat exposure, arriving with clean skin free of lotions or deodorants, and following any additional instructions provided with your appointment details.

Upon arrival, you will complete a 15-minute acclimation period in a temperature-controlled room. This allows your body to adjust to the environment and helps surface temperature patterns stabilize before your session begins.

Following acclimation, a series of infrared thermal images is captured using a specialized thermal camera to visualize surface temperature patterns across the selected areas. Depending on your study, imaging may include breast wellness imaging, full-body thermal imaging, or targeted area imaging related to wellness, movement, and physical performance.

After your appointment, your images are reviewed by our physician, who prepares a detailed thermography report outlining observed thermal patterns for educational comparison and personal reference. When appropriate, general guidance regarding future comparison studies may also be included.

Many individuals choose to incorporate thermography into their ongoing wellness routine as a consistent way to establish a baseline and observe changes over time.

Thermography is offered for educational awareness purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It does not replace care from a licensed healthcare provider.

We’re honored to support you through your imaging experience at Salt + Light Thermography.
