At Salt + Light Thermography, each session is designed to feel simple, unhurried, and consistent, using gentle infrared imaging in an integrative wellness environment that supports personal awareness and meaningful baseline comparison.
Your visit typically lasts approximately 30–45 minutes, depending on the type of session selected. Thermography is a non-contact, non-invasive process with no compression or discomfort. A brief intake is completed at the beginning of your appointment to confirm general readiness before your session begins.
Prior to your visit, simple preparation guidelines are provided to help support optimal imaging. These may include avoiding heavy exercise or heat exposure, arriving with clean skin free of lotions or deodorants, and following any additional instructions included in your pre-appointment details.
Upon arrival, you will complete a brief 15-minute acclimation period in a temperature-controlled room. This allows your body to naturally adjust to the environment so surface temperature patterns can stabilize before images are captured. This step helps support consistent imaging conditions.
Following acclimation, a series of infrared images is captured using a specialized thermal camera to visualize surface temperature patterns across the body. Depending on your selected study, imaging may include breast wellness imaging, full-body imaging, or targeted regional imaging, including areas commonly associated with movement and physical activity.
After your appointment, your images are submitted to our interpreting physician for review. A detailed thermography report is then prepared and provided to you, outlining observed thermal patterns for educational awareness and personal reference. When appropriate, general guidance regarding future comparison studies or recommended imaging intervals may also be included.
Thermography is offered for educational awareness purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It does not replace care from a licensed healthcare provider.
Many clients choose to incorporate thermography into their ongoing wellness routine as a consistent way to establish a baseline and compare future imaging studies.
We're honored to support you at Salt + Light Thermography.
